Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) will hold three open houses this spring to provide prospective students and their families the opportunity to learn about the College's high-quality academic programs, tour the facilities, and meet with faculty and staff.

To register, visit mc3.edu/openhouse or call 215-641-6300 for Central Campus, 610-718-1800 for West Campus, or 267-646-5970 for The Culinary Arts Institute. Attendees will be entered into a drawing for a $500 textbook scholarship that can be used when registering for a class.

The Culinary Arts Institute (CAI) of Montgomery County Community College, 1400 Forty Foot Road, Lansdale, Pa. will host an open house on Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with faculty, tour the kitchens and learn about the Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry programs, as well as the new Tourism and Hospitality Management program. Representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the admissions process, financial aid, and scholarships, among other topics.

As part of the open house, CAI will be hosting the final round of its high school cooking competition. Teams from five vocational-technical high schools competed in the preliminary round on Feb. 8. The two winning teams—Lindsey Rinehart and Amanda Schiaffino and Blake Dierkes and Joe Logan—both from North Montco Technical Career Center in Lansdale, will be competing to win a $1,200 scholarship and knife kits.

MCCC’s West Campus, 101 College Drive, Pottstown, Pa. will host an open house on Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The open house will be held in North Hall and will start with a welcome session and a panel discussion featuring MCCC students who will share their experiences.

Following the opening, visitors can learn about MCCC’s academic programs and resources and chat with faculty and staff. Several community organizations also will be available to provide information about local resources in Pottstown.

MCCC’s Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, Pa. will host an open house on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The open house will be held in the Health Sciences Center located near the Cathcart Road entrance. The welcome session will include a panel discussion featuring MCCC students. Following the opening, visitors can learn about MCCC’s academic programs and resources and chat with faculty and staff.

Both the Central and West Campus open houses will provide information about the College’s 100-plus associate degree and certificate programs, the admissions process, financial aid, student support programs, academic support, transfer opportunities, the University Center, the Virtual Campus and student organizations and clubs, among other topics.
