Veterans and their families are invited to learn more about Veterans Affairs benefits and services available for them at the Veterans Enrollment, Information and Wellness Expo on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Montgomery County Community College’s Health Sciences Center, Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell. The event is free, and convenient parking is located near the 595 Cathcart Road entrance.

Jointly hosted by MCCC, the Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Norristown Veterans Center, the event will enable veterans and their families to receive information, ask questions and get support about VA health care, services and educational benefits.

Veterans also will have the opportunity to enroll for VA health care benefits at the event. For enrollment, veterans should bring a copy of their DD214 and their 2018 income and out-of-pocket medical expense totals.

More than 30 agencies will be on hand to provide free community, recreational, educational, therapeutic and social activities, service and support. Participants will include Alchemy Massage and Body Works, Alpha Bravo Canine, American Legion 901 (Jeffersonville), AMVETS Freedom and Honor, Blue Star Mothers of America, Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Conshohocken VFW Post 1074, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 25, r Circle, Dub Fitness LLC, Gentle Yoga, Lansdale VFW Post 32, Main Line Deputy Dog, Meghan’s Foundation, Mobile Vet Center, MCCC, Montgomery County Department of Veteran Affairs, Norristown Veterans Center, Project Healing Waters, Project Hero Hub Horsham, Shamrock Reins, Solider Sanctuary, Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at the University of Pennsylvania, Team River Runner (Southeast Pennsylvania), The Greater Philadelphia Veterans Network, The Lincoln Center for Family & Youth, Transformation Yoga Project, Travis Manion Foundation, Veterans Brotherhood, Veterans of Foreign War Post 1074 (Conshohocken), Veterans Upward Bound Program, Vietnam Veterans of America, Weekly Fight, Writethought and Team Red, White and Blue.

In addition to the exhibitions, visitors can participate in demonstration classes and sessions, including mindfulness meditation, gentle yoga, drum circle, mini reiki sessions, body weight intervals and mini massages.
