On Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6, the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) site visitors spent time on MCCC’s Central Campus in Blue Bell verifying the contents of the Medical Laboratory Technician Program self-study report completed by Coordinator, Debbie Eckman-Drabick.

The visitors met with current students, graduates, faculty, administrators, and advisory committee members. They also toured College facilities, including the state-of-the-art MLT student laboratory, Health Sciences Center, library and other student support service areas.

At the exit interview, the team noted no areas of concern and commended the program on multiple areas of strength.  Official notification of ongoing accreditation will be received from NAACLS in October following approval by the Review Committee and Board of Directors.

Debbie and her faculty team continue to provide excellence in all areas of program development, instruction and assessment. Congratulations to the Medical Laboratory Technician Program for an outstanding preliminary report!
