Montgomery County Community College, as a designated Vaccine Champion College and active participant of the White House and U.S. Department of Education’s COVID College Challenge, is doing its part to help students, employees and community members get vaccinated.
MCCC, in partnership with the Montgomery County Immunization Coalition and Giant Pharmacy, is hosting two free walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics for the community.
The first clinic will be held Monday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MCCC’s Advanced Technology Center atrium, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell.
The second clinic will be held Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MCCC’s North Hall gallery, 16 East High Street, Pottstown. Parking is available at MCCC’s South Hall building, 101 College Drive, and attendees can walk a short distance through the tunnel to North Hall.
Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointments are necessary for the vaccines. Giant Pharmacy will be administering Pfizer, Moderna and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccines, first and second doses, as well as boosters. COVID testing will not be available.
Masks are required for all indoor MCCC facilities regardless of individual vaccination status. For additional information on vaccine eligibility, visit the Centers for Disease Control’s website.
As a Vaccine Champion College, MCCC has hosted vaccine clinics throughout 2021 and now into 2022 to help bring vaccines to students, employees and community members. Public transportation via buses is available to both MCCC’s Blue Bell and Pottstown campuses.
