Celebrate the inspiring talent of young artists from area high schools across Montgomery, Berks, and Chester Counties soon on display at Montgomery County Community College’s Pottstown Campus.

MCCC’s Montco Cultural Center will host the 12th annual Tri-County High School Art Exhibition, Tuesday, Feb. 10 through Friday, March 20 in the North Hall Gallery, 16 E. High St., Pottstown, PA 19464.

An opening reception will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 5-7 p.m. with remarks at 6 p.m. The gallery and reception are free and open to all. Free parking is available in the College's lot at 101 College Drive. For more information, visit the Culture Events landing page.

This exhibition will feature an impressive array of approximately 150 works in all media including painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, woodworking, fibers, and more.

“We do this show every year but it’s always exciting and fresh—there are young artists all over our area doing some amazing work with equally inventive teachers supporting them,” said Patrick Rodgers, Manager of the Montco Cultural Center. “We’re fortunate to be able to display all this creativity in our gallery each winter.”

This year’s jurors are Danielle Kangas and Anthony Nowack, owners of Anno Artem Gallery in Pottstown, now celebrating its year anniversary.

The North Hall Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The gallery is closed weekends and will also be closed March 9-13 for spring break.
