Comedy icons The Second City celebrate 2026 with a triumphant return to MCCC and an all-new show

Celebrating its 67th anniversary in 2026, the world’s most influential name in comedy, The Second City, is thrilled to return to the Montco Cultural Center Theater, Science Center, 1313 Morris Road, Blue Bell, PA 19422 with their newest revue, “Laughing For All the Wrong Reasons,” for a one night performing engagement Oct. 10, 2026.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. The performance is open to all and parking is free.

The Second City cast members perform a scene with several actors holding microphones on stage. “Laughing For All the Wrong Reasons” is a celebration of legendary American comedy over 65 years in the making. Featuring a hilarious array of classic sketch comedy and songs from the company's rich history, fresh new favorites, as well as the signature brand of irreverent improv that The Second City is famous for.

This innovative and interactive performance, brought to life by the dynamic Second City Touring Company, is a celebration of the comedic genius that has graced our stages for almost seven decades. Among the cast of performers is Emily Anderson, originally from Downingtown, Pa.

With alumni such as Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Keegan-Michael Key and Tim Robinson, The Second City has an unmatched track record of launching the careers of comedy superstars.
