This program features the 2026 world premiere of “Never/Mind,” a new work choreographed by Artistic Director Roni Koresh, with an original score by Sage DeAgro-Ruopp. The show’s Lighting Designer is Peter Jakubowski and Rehearsal Director is Melissa Rector.

Koresh “is a choreographer, teacher, and collaborator whose unique blend of ballet, modern, and jazz leaves audiences dazzled by the raw passion that is infused into his movement,” according to the company’s website. Early in his career, he studied Luigi Jazz while performing as part of Shimon Braun’s Waves Jazz Dance Company in Philadelphia. It’s where he “developed the muscular isolations and periods of continuous movement that define his style today.”

““Never/Mind” is a state of mind in which your creativity is reached free from external opinions, expectations, and distractions,” the shows logline states. “In this unfiltered mental space, the artist cannot be swayed—focused solely on instinct, individuality, and authentic expression.”

“Through Koresh’s signature physicality and DeAgro-Ruopp’s evocative composition,” the logline continues, “the work invites audiences to consider what becomes possible when we silence the noise and trust our own voice.”

Koresh shows have sold out around the world and critics have taken notice. His work presents “a wealth of forceful invention” Art Burst Miami said, with the Cincinnati Enquirer raving the shows are “athletic, exuberant, [and] disciplined.”

“In dance, reputation can carry a company for a while,” the Broad Street Review wrote in its review of “Never/Mind,” “but it does not explain 30-plus years of full houses … “Never/Mind” makes its case in motion: the clearest work happens when we leave thought behind and stay fully inside the body.”
