Proxy account access

You may grant your parents, guardians or other users online access to view your Financial Aid information and/or your grades. To protect your privacy, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requires us to obtain student permission before sharing your educational records.

Please Note: The Financial Aid & Grades are accessed through a different system than Payment Information. If your proxy is signing you up for both, they may receive up to 4 emails, with two separate usernames & passwords.

Grant access to financial aid or grades system

  1. Sign in to your MyMC3 portal
  2. Select Self Service from the Quick Links drop-down
  3. Click on your name, then select View/Add Proxy Access from the drop-down
  4. To add a new proxy, choose the drop-down arrow in the window next to Select a Proxy
  5. If the person is listed in the drop-down box, select person
  6. To add a proxy not listed, select Add Another User and fill in their information
  7. Select the access you wish to grant to your proxy
  8. Agree to the Disclosure Agreement
  9. Save

To add a proxy not listed in the drop-down

  1. Select Add Another User
  2. Complete the demographic information for your proxy. Required fields are indicated with a red *.
  3. Select the access you wish to grant to your proxy
  4. Agree to the Disclosure Agreement
  5. Save

Depending on the information provided, you will receive one of the following three messages:

  1. We have searched our records and have not found a person matching the information that you provided. If you think this is correct, Continue to create a new user using the information you just submitted. Otherwise, Cancel.
  2. We have searched our records and have found a person matching the information that you provided. If you think this is correct, Continue to assign proxy access to this person. Otherwise, Cancel.
  3. We have searched our records and have found existing users who possibly match the information that you provided. Continue to submit a request to MCCC to determine what actions must be taken; otherwise, Cancel.

Grant access to payment information system

  1. Sign in to the Payment Center
  2. Navigate to My Profile Setup
  3. Select Authorized Users
  4. Select Add Authorized User
  5. Enter the authorized user's email address
  6. Select access for proxy regarding viewing
    • Billing statements and account activity
    • Payment history and account activity
  7. Confirm by accepting the Agreement to Add Authorized Users

An email will be sent to your authorized user with instructions on how to log in and view your billing and payment plan information. They will log in using the email address you provided.

To add other authorized users, select Add Authorized User. To modify or delete access given to a proxy, select the Action button listed next to the proxy name. If you delete an authorized user, they can no longer make payments to your accounts in this system. All of their upcoming or unapplied scheduled or automatic payments will be canceled.
