Montco Welcomes Barnes & Noble College Bookstore!

Montgomery County Community College’s collaboration with Barnes & Noble College Bookstore provides Montco students with improved—convenience and cost-savings—when purchasing textbooks, course materials and various items.

 Montco also proudly offers access to Montco Materials, a textbook and course materials initiative designed to provide significant cost savings, while ensuring students have all required course materials on the first day of classes.

What else can I purchase at the bookstore?

School supplies, including some logoed. Some technological supplies like phone charging cords and printers. T-shirts, sweatshirts, and lanyards. (Things like laptops are not carried in store and on our website only).

How do I pay for my books and materials?

For summer 2025, you may apply financial aid, scholarship funds or other credits to purchase your materials, or you can use a credit or debit card. Beginning in Fall 2025, course materials will be part of the Montco Materials program.

Is there a fee for shipping and how long does it take?

Students can pick up physical materials at the Blue Bell Campus, request to pick up materials at Pottstown Campus, or have them delivered for a fee. Delivery times are available on the Barnes & Noble site.

How do I return book rentals?

You can return your rentals either in person at the Pottstown Library during their hours of operation, or at the Bookstore in Parkhouse Hall at the Blue Bell Campus during our hours of operation. There is also a $5 plus tax, UPS shipping label that can be accessed on our website should anyone want to ship them back. Once logged into your Bookstore account, you can process and then print the label.
