One of only 66 nationally approved phlebotomy programs in the U.S. and one of six in P.A. and N.J., Montco's Phlebotomy program teaches you how to properly draw blood for lab tests and research. Taught at Central Campus's new, state-of-the-art Health Sciences Center, the program also introduces you to health care professions, particularly those in clinical lab work. 

Program outcomes
  • Learn the technical skills needed to competently and safely collect and handle blood specimens from a variety of patients;
  • Develop good interpersonal skills and learn how to work well with others;
  • Gain the knowledge needed to pass national certification exams.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Phlebotomy Program to respond to the needs of the community by educating students to perform phlebotomy and related procedures and prepare these students to perform competently as phlebotomists upon program completion.

Special Admission Requirements
