Students from 14 high schools in Montgomery, Chester and Berks counties are showing their best artwork at Montgomery County Community College’s Fifth Annual Tri-County High School Art Exhibition and Competition in the College’s Fine Arts Gallery, North Hall, 16 High Street, Pottstown.

The exhibition opened Feb. 28 and features 130 pieces in an array of media, including paintings, drawings, photography, digital photography and design, ceramics and mixed-media, three-dimensional works. The exhibit is free, open to the community and continues through March 31.

“This show is now in its 5th year and continues to grow each year. I look forward to the energy and excitement that the teachers and students bring to such a large group exhibition,” said Patrick Rodgers, galleries director. “Our juror, Bob Hakun, did a great job zeroing in on some significant pieces for awards of merit, and we congratulate those student winners. We also thank all the teachers and students for their efforts with this exhibit--it's a fun and fascinating show when you put it all together.”
