Workforce Development Division to hold training grant information session

Montgomery County businesses are invited to learn about customized training programs and WEDnetPA grants on June 18.

To gain a competitive advantage in today’s marketplace, employers need a skilled, knowledgeable workforce that can take their businesses to the next level. Training existing employees using customized programs and available grant funds is an optimal way businesses can maximize their return on investment.

To assist Montgomery County businesses, Montgomery County Community College’s Workforce Development Division is offering a free information session about available workforce training grants through WEDnetPA (the Workforce & Economic Development Network of Pennsylvania) on Tuesday, June 18, in College Hall, Room 144, Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell. The session will run from 9 a.m. to noon.

The event will include:

  • Informational presentation featuring training opportunities and funding options 
  • Peer-to-peer networking 
  • Process improvement presentation by Lean Expert and Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Manny Veloso, BSIE, MBA
  • Continental breakfast
