Through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, businesses and corporations have the unique opportunity to help students succeed while receiving beneficial tax credits to help their bottom line.
Learn more about this opportunity at Montgomery County Community College’s free Educational Improvement Tax Credit informational breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 8 to 9 a.m. in East House on its Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell.
During the informational breakfast, you will learn how the EITC program works, receive information about the tax credits that are available and learn about the eligible student programs at MCCC.
One of the eligible programs is MCCC’s award-winning Gateway to College program, which enables students who are at risk for not graduating from high school a second chance to complete their high school diplomas and earn credits toward a postsecondary credential. Since the program started at MCCC in 2013, more than 150 students have earned their high school diplomas.
