As businesses and organizations begin to recover from the impact of the pandemic, charitable giving is more important than ever today—it is an investment in your community. To help residents learn about effective ways to support charities, Montgomery County Community College Foundation’s Planned Giving Advisory Council is presenting a free webinar, “Creative Giving Opportunities 2021: Charitable Giving Without Your Checking Account” on Friday, March 26, from 9 to 10 a.m.

The online event is open to the community. Please register by March 23.

The webinar will feature a panel of financial experts including Corey Talone, CPA, CGMA, Partner, Henry Frank & Company of Bala Cynwyd; Jennifer Ashley, J.D., CAP®, Planned Giving Officer, Univest Foundation of Souderton; and Susan T. Gillespie, Vice President and Wealth Advisor, Truist Wealth.

The panel experts will be discussing charitable gift annuities, including what they are, why they are good gifts and when they make sense; creative giving tactics, including donor advised funds, direct gifts of stock and other appreciated property and itemized versus standard deductions; and charitable giving strategies, including bunching contributions, IRA direct gifts to charity and advanced strategies.

Attendees are invited to submit questions for the panelists when they register.
