I would like to remember someone with my gift, how can I do this?

A memorial gift is an extraordinary way for you to honor a loved one who has passed. Gifts of all amounts are appreciated, and several giving opportunities exist. When giving online, there will be a designated area on the form to make note of tributes. If mailing in a check, please use the memo line to write “in memory of” the person’s name you are recognizing. The family will be notified of all memorial donations.

I would like to pay tribute to someone (i.e. a professor or advisor) with my gift, how can I do this?

Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, holiday or other special occasion with a gift to the College in honor of anyone you choose: a classmate, a favorite professor or staff member, or a loved one. When giving online, there will be a designated area on the form to make note of tributes. If mailing in a check, please use the memo line to write “in honor of” the person’s name you are recognizing. We will notify the person being honored of your thoughtfulness.

How can I ensure my gift supports a program area that is significant to me?

We encourage you to give to departments or programs that are meaningful to you. Our most popular giving designations are listed on our Where to Give page, though feel free to use the “other” option when making an online donation if you would like support another department or program.

Where is my receipt for my gift?

You will receive a receipt for your donation via mail within two weeks of the gift being processed. Please note that certain times of year involve an influx of gifts to process and receipts may be completed more gradually to ensure accuracy of paperwork for your tax purposes. If you have still not received a receipt after this period, please call the Foundation at 215-641-6324 or email foundation@mc3.edu.

I want to make a gift but can’t find the College’s information for my tax purposes. What is MCCCs legal name and EIN number for philanthropic donations?

Montgomery County Community College Foundation is a charitable organization, 501(c)(3). Although the College operates on a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30), your donation during a given calendar year is tax deductible within the limits of the Internal Revenue Service. Please consult with your tax professional regarding your individual circumstances.

For philanthropic purposes, please refer to the organization as “Montgomery County Community College Foundation” and use the following EIN number: 23-225-3031.
