2026 Presidential Symposium on Diversity
The 16th Presidential Symposium on Diversity is soon upon us! Save the date starting March 24, 2026.
This annual symposium is a multi-day capstone event that advances and facilitates
ongoing public dialogue on diversity and inclusiveness among students, employees and
the community. During the event, participants will hear from the distinguished keynote
speaker and many others. Scheduled events will occur throughout the duration of the
symposium, be sure to review the schedule when available.
Keynote Address by Dr. Omekongo Dibinga
As a transformative inclusion expert, Dr. Omekongo Dibinga will lean into the symposium theme of Lead with Unity. Act with Purpose, through his keynote focused on culture, unity and education, and creating communities that are celebrated and not tolerated. His speech highlights the importance of treating people with decency and having the core value of respect for each other. Join us for an invigorating keynote to kick off the 2026 Presidential Symposium.

Presidential Symposium Student Contest
Congratulations to the Presidential Symposium on Diversity Student Contest winner, Caitlin Buchecker! Caitlin is a first-year student majoring in Human Services with an Addictions concentration. After completing her degree at Montco, she plans to continue her education and work towards a career that supports individuals recovering from addiction. She aspires to use her lived experiences along with her education to help others find stability, healing, and a path forward. As the winner of the contest, Caitlin was awarded a VIP invitation to the symposium events along with a credit waiver for the Fall 2026 semester.
