Physical Therapist Assistant Program
All applicants seeking admission to the Physical Therapist Assistant Program are required to submit a completed online Petition for Admission.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to meet with the Physical Therapist Assistant academic advisor before submitting the Petition to verify completion of all special admission requirements.
Review the Physical Therapist Assistant Information Packet (PDF), which provides the prospective applicant with information about the PTA Program admission process at Montco. The information packet also includes a point score worksheet.
Any one is eligible to begin coursework at Montgomery County Community College toward qualifying for admission to the program and A.A.S. degree; however, admission requires that the you must be able to meet Essential Functions Requirements and Special Admission Requirements.
Petition for admission
Beginning Thursday, November 2 at 8:30 a.m., applicants seeking admission to the Technical Phase of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program can submit their online Petition for Admission. The petition will close promptly at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
