We train individuals for a professional license that validates a skill in areas such as project management, real estate, notary public, and notary signing agent. Upon completion of the program, students receive a college certificate and are prepared to sit for the governing industry credential.

Project Management
Multiple industries throughout the region such as construction, pharmaceutical, logistics, and information technology value individuals with skills in both their discipline and project management. Montco partners with the regional chapter of the Project Management Institute to offer approved training toward a PMP (Project Management Professional) or a CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management)
Real Estate Salesperson
Real estate agents are in high demand. In order to be an agent in Pennsylvania, a student must sit for 75 hours of PA-approved real estate programming. Although the real estate market will always shift and change based on multiple factors, real estate sales continues to be an in-demand occupation in Montgomery County. In order to be an agent in Pennsylvania, a student must sit for 75 hours of PA approved real estate programming. A student must take both Real Estate Fundamentals and Real Estate Practice to sit for the State of PA’s realtor exam.
Notary Public Training and Renewal
Montco is one of the two approved schools in Pennsylvania offering notary classes, preparing students for the PA Notary Exam and specialized notary signing agent courses. Notaries public, appointed by the Secretary of the Commonwealth, play a vital role in attesting to signatures on various documents and must adhere to high ethical standards. To become a notary in PA, individuals must follow RULONA regulations and pass a state certification exam for a three-year license.

Notary Public
This course is designed to acquaint individuals who are considering becoming a Notary Public with this specialized certification to enable them to make an informed judgment on whether to pursue this career opportunity. In addition, completing this 3-hour course qualifies as one of the required elements to making an initial application to become a Notary Public in Pennsylvania. The course also serves as the Continuing Education requirement for current Notaries who are applying for reappointment.
Notary Signing Agent
Career and income-producing opportunities are growing for skilled notary signing agents. Notary signing agents are currently commissioned notaries public with specialized training to assist in the closing of real estate transactions. Learn how the loan and escrow processes work, what lenders and borrowers expect from a signing agent and step-by-step procedures for executing loan documents. Prerequisite: You must already be a notary.
Continuous Improvement
Learn how to improve processes and deliver products and/or services in the most efficient manner possible. MCCC currently offers Lean Six Sigma and Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
