As part of this process, students will need to provide an unexpired government-issued photo ID, along with a selfie to confirm their identity.
Students applying to Montgomery County Community College on or after February 25, 2026, will be asked to complete identity verification as part of the application process.* After submitting your application, you will receive a text message with detailed instructions to verify your identity. Please note: your application cannot proceed until this step is successfully completed.
After you submit your documents, you'll see an on-screen confirmation. If your verification is successful, your application will be sent through for processing, and you'll receive an acceptance email within 24-48 hours. If additional information is required from you, you will receive an email notification to the email you provided on your application.
