Your step-by-step guide

Congratulations! Now that you've applied to Montco, you're one step closer to reaching your degree.

Keeping track of your application materials can be tricky. To make this process easier, we've created a handy checklist for you. Use it to manage everything from financial aid to registering for classes.

  1. Assess Your Skills
As you begin your education at MCCC, it’s important that you start in the right classes. We will carefully evaluate your transcripts, and if applicable, standardized test scores, to see if you are exempt from taking all or some of our placement tests in reading, writing, and math.

Find out if you qualify for any exemptions, and learn more about the testing process.
  2. Complete MyCareerPlan
Log into MyMC3 and access MyCareerPlan. This online tool will incorporate your strengths and interests to determine what career paths may be best suited for you.
  3. Meet with an Advisor
To prepare for registration, an advisor will review the results of MyCareerPlan during your meeting. They will also work with you to plan your first semester of classes. Make an appointment with an advisor.
  4. Register for Classes
Log into Self-Service with your MyMC3 account information. Select "Student Planning" to schedule and register for your courses.
  5. Pay Your Tuition
The College offers payment plans so you can spread out your tuition payments over the course of the semester. To sign up for a payment plan and/or make a payment online, log into MyMC3 and select Admissions and Payments.

Tuition and fees can also be paid in person at Enrollment Services by credit card, money order, cash or check.

  6. Get Ready For Class
    • Log into MyMC3 (Directions for logging in the first time are shown on the login page.)
    • Access your student email for important College messages.
    • Check Self-Service for your class schedule.
    • Visit the Virtual Bookstore.
