A transcript is a comprehensive record of your academic progress, including coursework, grades and degrees earned. Online requests for transcripts are fulfilled through the National Student Clearinghouse, a trusted source for secure transcript delivery. Alternatively, you may visit either campus to obtain an official paper transcript during business hours. Transcripts can be purchased with cash, credit card or check.
Transcript Fees and Delivery Methods
You may choose electronic or mail delivery to be sent now, after grades are posted for the current term, or after your degree has been awarded. Transcript fees are $5.00 each, unless opting for express or international mail which will have an additional charge. You will need your Montco student ID number or your Social Security number to complete the order form. Your credit card will not be charged until the order is completed.
An Electronic (PDF) Transcript is an electronically delivered official Montgomery County Community College Transcript sent securely to the email address of the recipient you designate. The recipient will receive two separate emails—Transcript Link and Transcript Password—detailing the process to retrieve the transcript. Please note, each transcript is issued to a specific recipient and is only considered "official" if it is delivered by the National Student Clearinghouse to that recipient. An Electronic (PDF) Transcript cannot be replicated or forwarded to any person or organization other than the intended recipient.
If you have an outstanding balance with the College it will prevent the release of your transcript. Your financial obligation will need to be resolved prior to completing a transcript order. Once your transcript request is received by our office, transcripts are sent pending any student account holds and receipt of the signed authorization form. Electronic transcripts are the recommended delivery option and upon approval are sent immediately to the recipient. There may be delays for mail delivery due to the increased volume at the US Postal Service. Upon approval, electronic transcripts are sent immediately; paper transcripts are mailed within 3-5 business days. Please allow 5-7 business days for delivery of paper transcripts by the United States Postal Service. During College holidays there may be a delay in processing your request.

Options offered by MCCC
For in-person requests, students may present their documents with a completed request form at either campus. The additional document will be sealed in the envelope with the transcript.
For online requests, you are permitted to attach up to three (3) additional documents – .pdf, .doc, or docxx – to the electronic or mail transcript order.
In-person requests have been suspended until further notice.
Note: Students with additional documents requiring action by Montgomery County Community
College must also download, complete and send the transcript request form with document requiring completion, to address or fax number listed on form.
